Things You Need to Install .apk Files to Your Pico Headsets
- USB cable
- Headjack VRsideloader
- Mac or Pc with USB 3.0 port or higher
- .apk file of your Pico app
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode for Pico Headsets
- Got to Settings
- Click on Advanced Settings
- Scroll down and Click System
- Scroll down and click About Device
- Click PUI Version 10 times to enable Developer Mode
- Go back and click Developer options
- Scroll down and enable USB debugging
Step 2: Install VRsideloader for Windows or Mac
- Download the Headjack VRsideloader for Mac or PC
- Install on your computer and Open
- Wait for the Android Platform tools to finish installing
Step 3: Install the APK file on your Pico
- Connect your Pico to your computer with an USB cable
- Obtain an .apk file for install on your Pico
- Drag & drop the .apk file onto the VRsideloader and wait for the installation to finish
- Congrats! You can now open the app on your device from the Library
How to Uninstall a Sideloaded App From Pico Headsets
- Open the VRsideloader on your PC or Mac
- Connect your Pico headset to your computer with a USB cable
- Click the “uninstall” button
- From the app list click the .apk file you want to uninstall

How To Sideload an App to the Pico Headsets with Command Line and ADB
It is also possible to use command line to install an app on your Pico Headsets. our VRsideloader tool is essentially a UI over command line and ADB so you don’t have ton use command line any more.
